AI credits and budgets
How AI usage is measured, what credits buy, and how admins allocate per-user budgets.
Every AI call — report chat, staff insights, CEO summaries, leaderboard chat, Executive AI — draws from a monthly credit pool sized by your plan. Credits reset every 30 days.
Tracking usage
Admin → AI Usage shows credits used against the limit, the next reset date, a per-feature breakdown, and a filterable detail log (by feature, user, model, and date). A "What do credits buy?" guide gives per-feature cost estimates. Admins and Chiefs of Staff are notified automatically when the organisation reaches 70%, 90%, and 100% of its monthly credits.
Per-user budgets
Admins can allocate a personal monthly credit budget to each user from the Manage budgets panel. A user who exhausts their budget sees a specific message (distinct from organisation-wide exhaustion) and regains access at the next reset — or sooner if their budget is raised.
Feature toggles
Each AI feature can be enabled or disabled organisation-wide from AI Controls, independently of credits.
Executive AI is the most credit-intensive feature because it reads the whole evidence set. Follow-up questions within one conversation are far cheaper than first questions, and a curated Knowledge Base keeps every question leaner.
