Navigating days with the week strip

How the Mon–Sun strip works, what the dots mean, and how past and future days are handled.

2 min read

Below the header, a row of seven buttons represents the current week from Monday to Sunday.

Day states

  • Selected (filled primary): the day currently displayed in the work log.
  • Today (outlined): today's date when it is not the selected day.
  • Past day with entries (primary dot): a day that has at least one logged entry.
  • Future day (dimmed): days that have not yet occurred. They can be selected but entries logged there will be in the future.

Switching days

Tap any day in the strip to load that day's entries and notes. The work log and notes card update instantly.

"This week" summary (desktop)

On wider screens, the right column also shows a compact summary of the current week with a numbered badge per day showing how many entries you have logged. Clicking any day there also switches the log view.

Use the Calendar tab to browse entries from previous weeks. Clicking a day in the calendar takes you back to the log view for that date.
