Understanding the weekly reporting cycle
How deadlines, submissions, edit windows, and carry-overs fit together each week.
Signal PlayBook AI is built around a weekly rhythm. Each office has a deadline configured by an Admin specifying the day and time by which staff must submit to count as on-time.
The typical weekly cycle
- 1Monday–Thursday: complete your work and gather notes.
- 2Before the deadline: open your report, fill in all sections, and submit.
- 3After submission: you receive confirmation immediately. Manager, Head of Office, COS, and mention notifications are sent after the edit window closes so recipients see the final version.
- 4Next week: unresolved priorities from last week appear as carry-overs alongside the new results field on your report form, so you can review and reconcile them together.
Late submissions
Reports submitted after the deadline are still accepted but flagged as late. Late submissions appear with a visual indicator in your manager's team view and in dashboard analytics.
The edit window
After submitting you have a 30-minute edit window to correct mistakes. Once it closes, the report is locked.
Exempt users
Some users are marked exempt from report submission by an Admin. Exempt users are not counted in submission rates, do not receive reminders, and do not appear as missing in dashboards. They can still submit voluntarily if they choose to.
The form auto-saves drafts continuously, but final submission requires an active internet connection.
