Configuring offices and deadlines

How to set up offices with the correct deadline day, time, timezone, and opening hours.

Each office is an independent unit with its own deadline and timezone. Staff are assigned to exactly one office, and their report deadline is determined by the office they belong to.

Creating an office

  1. 1Go to Admin → Org & Offices and click Add Office.
  2. 2Enter a name and a short code (e.g. "HQ" or "LON").
  3. 3Set the deadline day of week, hour, minute, and timezone.
  4. 4Set the office timezone (used for all deadline calculations for this office).
  5. 5Optionally designate a Head of Office.
  6. 6Click Save.

Deadline behaviour

Reports submitted before the deadline are on-time. Reports after the deadline are accepted but flagged as late. Admins can configure a grace period (in minutes) in Admin → Settings → Submission Rules during which late submissions are still treated as on-time.

Office opening hours

Opening hour, closing hour, and workdays are used to schedule the Priority Digest: the morning email that sends your team's committed priorities to managers within 30 minutes of the configured opening time on workdays.

Multiple offices

If your organisation spans multiple time zones, create a separate office for each location with the correct local deadline. Staff in each office only see their own deadline in the report form header.

After changing a deadline, new submissions immediately use the updated deadline. Reports already submitted in the current week are not affected.
