Connecting your Google account
Link your Google account to sign in with Google and surface today's meetings as Daily Memo suggestions.
Connecting your Google account enables two things: signing in to Signal PlayBook with Google (instead of email + password) and pulling your Google Calendar meetings into the Daily Memo as one-tap suggestion chips.
How to connect
- 1Go to Profile → Account.
- 2Scroll to the Connected accounts section.
- 3Click Connect next to Google Calendar.
- 4Sign in with your Google account and grant the requested permissions (Calendar read-only, profile, email).
- 5You are returned to your profile with the connection confirmed.
What it enables
- Google sign-in: once connected, you can sign in from the login page using "Sign in with Google" instead of entering your email and password.
- Calendar suggestions on the Daily Memo: events from your Google Calendar for today appear as chip buttons under a "From your calendar" heading. Clicking one adds the event title to your work log.
- If you also have Outlook connected, both sources are merged and deduplicated, so duplicate titles from both calendars appear only once.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect in the Connected accounts section of Profile → Account. Disconnecting removes the link immediately. Google sign-in will no longer work, and Google Calendar suggestions stop appearing on the Daily Memo. Your Signal PlayBook account and all its data are unaffected.
After disconnecting, confirm you can sign in with your email and password before closing the browser. If you have never set a password, contact your Admin.
The Google account email used for linking must match your Signal PlayBook account email address. You cannot link a different Google account.
