Reassigning a report to a different week (Admins)
How Admins can move a submitted report to a previous week and what happens afterwards.

When back-dated submissions are enabled, Admins can reassign a submitted report to a different past week directly from the report detail page. This is useful when a staff member submitted their report under the wrong week.
How to reassign a report
- 1Open the report detail page for the submitted report.
- 2Click the Reassign Week button in the report header (visible to Admins only).
- 3Use the ‹ › arrows to navigate to the correct week.
- 4Click Reassign Week to confirm.
What happens after reassignment
- The report is moved to the selected week and its week label is updated everywhere.
- The report is marked as late regardless of when it was originally submitted.
- The staff member receives an email notification showing the old week, the new week, and the name of the admin who made the change.
- The action is recorded in the audit log under REPORT_WEEK_REASSIGNED.
Restrictions
- Back-dated submissions must be enabled in Admin → Settings → Submission Rules.
- Only submitted reports can be reassigned. Drafts cannot.
- The target week must be a past week within the configured maximum weeks limit.
- If the staff member already has a report for the target week, the reassignment is blocked.
Reassignment cannot be undone from the UI. If a mistake is made, reassign again to the correct week.
