Submission rules (Admins)
Global settings for submission windows, grace periods, and back-dated reports.
Admin → Settings → Submission Rules controls platform-wide behaviour around when and how reports can be submitted.
Submission window
Sets how many hours before each office's deadline the submission form opens. Set to 0 to keep the form always open. For example, a value of 48 means staff can only submit during the 48-hour window leading up to their office deadline.
Late grace period
A number of minutes after the deadline during which a submission is still counted as on-time. A value of 0 means no grace period: any submission after the deadline is flagged late.
Allow back-dated report submissions
When this toggle is on, staff can submit reports for previous weeks from the New Report modal on their dashboard. A week picker appears in the modal header letting them navigate to the relevant week.
Maximum weeks in the past
This field appears when back-dated submissions are enabled. It limits how far back staff can go. Set to 0 for no limit. For example, a value of 4 allows submissions for up to 4 weeks in the past.
Back-dated reports are always flagged as late since they are submitted after the original office deadline.
Back-dated submissions are useful for catching up after extended leave or onboarding new users who need to fill in recent history.
@mentions grant report access
When this toggle is on, users @mentioned in a report field, a comment, or a reply automatically gain read access to the full report and receive a direct link to it. When off, mentions still trigger a notification but the mentioned user cannot follow the link to view the report.
CEO can view detailed reports
When enabled (the default), the CEO can open any submitted report detail page, see the Weekly Reports list, and access Team Member Insights. When disabled, the CEO is limited to the CEO dashboard, aggregate analytics, company structure, and published executive summaries. They can only read reports they authored or are explicitly @mentioned in. The Weekly Reports and Team Member Insights sidebar items are hidden from the CEO when this setting is off.
The CEO report access setting and the @mentions access setting are both manageable by Admins and the Chief of Staff.
