Managing office deadlines, timezones, and digest settings

How to configure the deadline, opening hours, workdays, and Priority Digest for any office as an Admin.

Admins can configure all office timing and notification settings at Admin → Org → [Office] → Edit.

Deadline settings

  • Deadline day: e.g. Friday.
  • Deadline time: e.g. 17:00.
  • Deadline timezone: all report deadlines and reminder emails use this timezone.

Deadline changes take effect immediately in report forms for staff assigned to that office.

When the deadline changes, active staff in that office receive an email with the new deadline. Staff in other offices are not emailed.

Changing a deadline mid-week may create confusion for staff who are mid-draft. Communicate major changes in advance where possible.

Priority Digest settings

The Priority Digest is a morning email sent to managers showing their team's committed next-week priorities. It is disabled by default and must be turned on per office.

  • Priority Digest enabled: toggle to activate morning digest emails for this office.
  • Office timezone: the IANA timezone used to determine when "morning" is for digest delivery (e.g. America/New_York). This is independent of the deadline timezone.
  • Opening hour / minute: the local time at which the digest window opens. The digest fires within 30 minutes of this time on qualifying workdays.
  • Workdays: which days of the week are considered working days (default Mon–Fri). The digest only fires on these days.

Individual users can opt out of the digest in Profile → Notifications even when it is enabled at the office level.
