Team Structure
How managers and Heads of Office view and export their team or office org chart.
Team Structure is accessible from Team → Team Structure in the sidebar. What it shows depends on your position in the organisation.
Head of Office view
Heads of Office see the full org chart for their office: all staff in that office arranged by manager relationships, starting from themselves at the top.
Manager view
Managers who are not a Head of Office see their own reporting chain, covering the subtree of people who directly or indirectly report to them.
Visibility
The Team Structure option only appears in the sidebar for users who manage at least one person. Staff with no direct reports do not see this menu item.
Export options
- Export as Image: a PNG snapshot of the full chart.
- Export as PDF: a printable version.
- Export as Text (ASCII): a plain-text hierarchy for pasting into documents.
All exports include a "generated by Signal PlayBook AI" footer, which is captured automatically in image and PDF exports.
