User status and presence
How staff set availability and how managers see status updates.

Users can set their current status from their avatar menu in the top navigation bar. Status appears beside their profile in team views, staff insight pages, org charts, and report-related views.
Available statuses
- Standard: Online, Away, Busy, Offline.
- Custom: type a short message (up to 100 characters) to describe what you're currently doing.
Every time you update your status, your direct manager receives an in-app notification so they stay informed without needing to ask.
